Meet Mariia
Hi, I’m Mariia, the face painter behind Colour & Cheer.
My journey into face painting began while working with an experienced professional artist. I was immediately drawn to the colour, creativity, and happiness surrounding each painted face, but I also saw how much knowledge and care go into creating a safe, comfortable experience for every child.
Wanting to develop strong professional skills, I completed formal training through the International Face Painting School. I later had the pleasure of painting children at Reptilia London, where I saw again and again how something as simple as face paint could become a truly special memory.
For me, face painting is about more than creating a beautiful design. It opens the door to a world of imagination, where a child can become a sparkling fairy, a courageous superhero, or a favourite animal. My favourite moment is the mirror reveal, that instant when a child sees their transformation and their whole face lights up.
Through Colour & Cheer, I want every child to feel special and every parent to feel confident that their child is being painted with warmth, patience, and professional care.
